I need to modify my PC but don’t have a Mac to get the installer for a USB drive. I was thinking a virtual machine would help, but after two months it stopped working completely—slow, unstable, crashed often. I managed a temporary VM for a couple of weeks, but it became too frustrating. I’m not sure if there’s another way to get the installer without a Mac or a VM. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

No official method exists to obtain an OSX copy without owning a genuine Mac.

That's correct. Because of community guidelines, we can't assist with this. Apple's position is that MacOS should not be available outside of Macs, which may violate their terms of service and could be seen as piracy in certain situations. This goes against the company's policies.

Community guidelines have evolved, and you're welcome to talk about hackintosh topics. However, we can't share direct links to copyrighted files. The safest legal option is using a Mac. You can purchase one for roughly $150–$200 on eBay and use it. Basically, the price of a Windows key is pretty reasonable.
