You're dealing with an unusual issue where your system behaves differently depending on network conditions and configurations. It seems like FTTP connections are throttled, especially when using certain services or VPNs. The inconsistency between other systems suggests possible interference from the modem or firewall settings. Checking download limits, server assignments, and ensuring no conflicting software is running might help. Also, verify that your firewall rules allow necessary traffic without restrictions.

Sure, I can help with that. You're asking about using Steam to send files between computers via your local internet connection.

I don't have access to real-time system data, so I can't tell you the current DL speed on your PC while using Speednet or similar software. You can check it by running a speed test or monitoring tools like Task Manager or a dedicated hardware monitor.

This was the initial test I performed - LAN transfers via Steam work perfectly fine.

The feeling of a VPN connection being slowed down resembles the modem or ISP limiting data from that device.

No specific QoS settings were applied to the router for that device.

This was my first consideration too, yet it doesn't clarify why it functions across another device on the same network. I think it should be specific to this setup.

We're open to everyone, no restrictions. Downloads work just like with other programs.

Updated the TCP Optimizer, restarted it, and appears to have resolved the problem. Investigating the logs now, I noticed several registry key directories were altered.
