As you ask for this adjustment, I’ll proceed accordingly.
I won’t mimic farming Solves, and I’ll keep it casual.
For your reference, my write cache is active, PCI settings are moderate, and my Steam downloads sit in the 95-100mbps range—what I consider normal. I understand you’re hoping it gets fixed, but this usually points to a network issue rather than a cache or PCI configuration.
Hey there, just in case I missed anything. I hope a moderator can help me if I go against the rules.
I'm consistently achieving speeds well over 100mbps, even under challenging conditions. The performance was always around +400mbps, so your feedback isn't really helpful. My connection is solid. I can easily reach speeds near +950mbps in tests and downloads from the FX EA app, which also hits +900mbps. Only Steam showed inconsistent results. It seems Steam's unpacking process during downloads might be causing these irregularities. Likely requires a lot of IOPS, which is why disabling power-saving on PCIe resolved the issue.
That's a valid observation, it might become a problem at faster velocities.
