Some folks still use Vista. It should function properly; you can also place the ISO on a USB stick. This is how I installed the Tech Preview on my Surface Pro 3. Note: earlier I misread the instructions—believed it was for a DVD, but it actually worked fine. I formatted the USB drive myself so it could act as a bootable drive using Windows' built-in disk manager and then simply dropped the ISO onto it. Updated October 15, 2014 by ThatCoolBlueKidd

Some folks still use Vista. It should function properly; you can also place the ISO on a USB stick. This is how I installed the Tech Preview on my Surface Pro 3. Note: earlier I misread the instructions—believed it was for a DVD, but it actually worked fine.
