It adds more depth than just the +2 boosts. It might feel a bit unstable during updates, especially since they had to build a tree for 113 heroes. Plus, I believe part of Dota 2's appeal comes from its chaotic and unpredictable nature.

The vague concept is decent, as a support main I like the ability to increase XP gain on some heroes but some of the upgrades are complete BS, Wraith King's ult not requiring mana goes against counter play. Diffusal Blade now can't purge allied debuffs or Omni's Repel so it seems like a really awful item now. The rework to Rod of Atos seems bad. Oh and Techies now has stasis snares that last forever and proximity mines that can't be auto attacked or killed with quelling blade... And his suicide move doesn't necessarily kill him, and now silences for some reason.

His suicide power only achieves half the previous damage. Techies are quite challenging to balance because of their unusual nature. I somewhat concur with WK—his level 25 feels more like a joke.

It's likely you already removed the diffuser before the game reaches level 25. Still, I think some of these trees are significantly improved compared to others. Monkey King seems especially impressive.

I long for uneven layouts and a random-map tool for DOTA 2. I aim to explore the terrain and adjust to ever-changing challenges to truly engage in the experience.

We might get this for mods, it would certainly be awesome. Imagine making a pure RTS game on the dota engine with dota characters and assets? It'd be full circle, from WC3 to dota, to dota 2, to WC4 (mod)

Over the years, Dota has undergone significant changes. This is substantial—truly massive—but if you examine Dota from 2015, you’ll notice they nearly recreated the original experience (plus the two major updates before). I’m not sure how to approach this, as I no longer play it, but it should definitely bring fresh challenges and unpredictability. I’m confident they’ll continue releasing patches when players start exploiting in new ways they hadn’t considered before.

I've tried this patch several times now. Late-game feels fast-paced and support seems strong. Tome of Knowledge is amazing, but early-game heroes are tough to play. Reaching level 25 is a major milestone—most players find it overwhelming, yet it's much smoother. The new map is problematic; camps are hard to find and shrines are broken. I've seen Monkey King played both poorly and brilliantly. When he plays well, he's exceptional, but once you're ahead it's tough. Farming is straightforward and levels are easy to hit. The game overall seems more accessible. Safelane is very vulnerable because of the bigger jungle and tighter lanes. There are some UI issues—especially on smaller screens, the gold display is hidden in a hard-to-spot corner, making it annoying to see your gold. The side readout change makes checking team items confusing. Overall, I'm not enjoying this update.

We're facing some issues, but we should overcome them within a couple months. The valve keeps enhancing the HUD atm, which means it could improve significantly. The main thing I dislike is the shop layout. Personally, I'd like to have all my item guides and components in one place instead of switching between different sections. I also realized I missed purchasing the courier in the last game as Lion because the shop feels so odd now.
