Whenever I open Dosbox, my computer freezes completely. I downloaded a game from GOG that uses Dosbox, but it still freezes my PC every time. I've tried using compatibility mode, but it doesn't work either. I'm using Windows 10.

I agree with TerryLaze's idea. I would download a standalone DOS-BOX, follow his advice, and if it functions without crashes, try running your game through this dosbox using the cmd. This way we can check if the issue persists. Additionally, you may share Windows logs from Event Viewer to identify whether the problem stems from DOSBOX itself or another DLL on your system.

What is the game and what are your system specifications?

Consider downloading dosbox separately and testing it to see if the issue lies with the game setup or with dosbox itself.

Expanding on TerryLaze's idea, I recommend downloading a standalone DOS-BOX and, after implementing Terry's advice, test your game using this setup. (Run the game via cmd and check for any issues.) Additionally, sharing Windows logs from Event Viewer can help identify if the problem stems from DOSBOX itself or another DLL on your system.
