Hello, in the UK you can get the best offer with DOS only. Is it possible to move Windows 10 from your current laptop to the new one without issues? Thanks for your question.

No, you're not allowed. If Windows 10 was already installed on that laptop, the license applies only to that specific device. You cannot transfer an entire operating system installation between two laptops. Even if possible, it would result in laptop A losing its license. For the models you're considering, what is the cost difference between Windows and a version without Windows?

That's a good question. The price gap is around £95 ($140). Times are tough here. Could you just purchase a fresh licence and then transfer the operating system?

It seems the most effective option would be to set up Windows 10 without a license (do not activate). This removes some personalizations, but the system still works perfectly.

The license is the component that requires payment. You can easily carry out a fresh setup and use the valid license you buy. Avoid attempting to copy the operating system from one system to another.
