Currently, I've been playing Doom Eternal for a week (on PC) and I must say I really enjoy it! In fact, I think it's better than Doom 2016. However, I have one small problem: sometimes the Tab key doesn't work in the game, which is frustrating. It's similar to what I experienced with Doom 2016—you can use the Tab key for menus like Dossier, Weapon Upgrades, Suit Upgrades, and Ruins.
I've tried a few troubleshooting steps: checking driver updates, ensuring my OS isn't corrupted, installing the latest Windows updates. So far, nothing unusual has appeared. My keyboard seems fine since I've only been using it for a couple of months after purchasing it.
I used the Bethesda Launcher instead of Steam, so I have some questions:
1) Are others facing this issue?
2) Does this problem relate more to the game or the launcher?
3) Has anyone managed to resolve it if they've had the same experience?
4) Is there a chance this could be fixed in an upcoming game update or a future Bethesda Launcher/Steam update?

Hey - just set up an account to let you know I'm facing this same problem on Windows 10 while using Steam. I bought it a week ago and have been dealing with it continuously. It sometimes functions, other times it fails completely, but when it does, it's unpredictable. You're not the only one. Edit: I discovered something by checking Slayer key bindings. Switching to Caps Lock resolved the issue, while reverting to Tab didn't work at all. My Tab key is confirmed to be fine. Restoring to defaults brings it back to working Tab mode, but changing back to Caps Lock fixes everything. Seems like the game isn't detecting the Tab keypress.
