Doom Eternal became extremely slow, need assistance!
I previously played Doom Eternal smoothly on my laptop with maximum settings. It maintained around 60 frames per second. After the Nvidia update, FPS fell to 30 and the game became very unstable. I ran it at the lowest configuration still got 30 FPS. I checked all VSync options but nothing improved. My drivers were fresh. I also replaced the RAM and rechecked the model, but nothing changed. The laptop specs show a Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon graphics, 8 GB RAM, and the driver was up to date.
I attempted to reinstall the game, update the GPU drivers, and revert the drivers, but nothing changed. The driver version remains 576.80. The Nvidia GeForce Experience app doesn’t offer any options to adjust the GPU settings, and it seems the game is running on the correct GPU since VRAM usage appears accurate in the settings (3694/4151 MB). Playing works only when I lower the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720.
In the Nvidia app it displays a message indicating retrieval issues, suggesting restarting the game or adjusting settings might resolve the matter. Red Dead Redemption is installed and is being properly recognized and enhanced by the Nvidia app.
