Does Zoom cause my whole screen to shake? I need a specific link to fix this issue.
Hey, could someone point me to the right place for help? I've had this annoying problem where my whole screen flickers while meeting up with Zoom friends. I know it's been fixed before, but I searched lots of places online and saw a lot of threads about it. Most people talk about not being able to set refresh rates or how disabling hardware acceleration made no change. Actually, I got lost in all those options. Could anyone share a simple step-by-step guide on how to test if the fix works? (I don't see an option to start a live meeting with another person for testing) I'm using Windows 10, 64-bit, and it's fully updated on my Lenovo E15. Thanks so much!
Update your post by showing full system hardware specs. Then check this Zoom link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/article...-and-Linux Compare those specs to yours on the Lenovo E15 and see what comes up as too much or weak. Look at Task Manager and Resource Monitor (you can use both, but only one at a time) while holding admin rights. First look without Zoom open, then start Zoom up and watch again. To test more, try meetings with just one person, then add more people. Use live meetings by telling them you're testing something and say how to join. Leave the Resource Monitor or Task Manager window open on the side so you can keep watching performance graphs while meeting. Pay attention to that weak link as a starting point. If nothing shows up, look at other things happening instead. Hopefully this will show some events that match with the flickers in your screen.
Hey, thanks for sharing those tips. I'm planning to keep my eye on things during our next meeting. While you're looking at other details about my system here: the E15 model uses Intel's standard with an i5-10210U CPU clocked at 1.60 GHz and running on 2101 MHz, along with 4 cores and 16 GB of RAM powered by Windows 10 x64 that is fully updated. It doesn't seem to be a compatibility issue. Do you have any other easy-to-check things that could be the problem? I don't want to waste time digging into complex fixes right now. Thanks so much!
