I bought Asus Tuf FA506IV 2-3 days ago. Here is the problem; the screen freezes randomly or shows a black screen 10 or 15 times daily. Also, have blue screens often. I can't move my cursor, the key combinations do not work. However, the keyboard lights are open. The only solution is the close/open the power button. I tried these solutions; - Fresh Windows 10/11 (tried them both) with drivers from Windows update, then update the processor(4800h) chipset from the AMD website. Update the NVIDIA drivers. Didn't solve - Clean/Uninstall TPM, Didn't solve - Connect the other monitor to see if the problem is the screen, if it's frozen it disconnects from the monitor. Didn't solve Now I am using the old Nvidia driver from 2023's beginning but it didn't solve either. What should I try next? I bought the computer from another country, so the service work is gonna be expensive. Should I try local computer services?

Welcome to the forums! New people, you need fresh Windows 10 or 11 where did you get the installers? Asus Tuf FA506IV Might want to check if your laptop has any BIOS updates coming up. Use drivers from the Windows update page, then go to the AMD website and update the processor (4800h) chipset. Also update the NVIDIA drivers. You should install the OS in offline mode first, then manually add all the needed drivers using an elevated command, like right clicking the installer and choosing Run as Administrator.

The first thing is to check the Windows official site for sources. I did update the BIOS by mistake; I forgot to say that! Yes, I tried installing the OS in offline mode and then used Windows Update instead. Not every driver comes from ASUS directly on their website.

Hey, if everything looks okay so far, try turning off your video card and running a test. If you don't get the same thing back, visit this link: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/...aming-a15/ to pick out your exact laptop model and install all drivers from there. Then run another test. You can also check your memory with a "mem test" in Windows or test your hard drive with HD Sentinel. I know it's a new one, but try testing just to be sure everything is working fine. First, make sure you have AMD drivers installed. After restarting the computer, try installing Nvidia drivers in that specific order and see if they work.

Ready to go with this plan. If it doesn't work, I'll stop and check another method.
