Generally, you don't require a real GPU for most tasks. The IGPU takes up part of your main memory, which isn't usually a big problem unless you're working with many open tabs. A TV can browse the web and stream videos like YouTube or Netflix without issues, as it has its own processor with an IGPU that's much less powerful than a typical CPU.
I'm wondering why someone gave me an Intel A750 for $75
I considered using it in a browser-only machine to see if it could be useful.
Ensure you have a PSU that can manage it.
It could ease your expenses when you review the electricity bill.
I'll be using 2x4K displays with 120Hz. If I watch a YouTube video on one monitor (4K) and browse on another, switching tabs etc., will it feel smoother or more responsive—especially when interacting with JS-heavy sites or animations? Will it remove any minor issues that might occur with the iGPU during hardware-accelerated CSS animations or at high refresh rates? Also, does the AI consistently behave as expected?
