Does Toshiba Thunderbolt Dock fail to recognize some USB flash drives?
I have read that the BIOS needs to be set correctly. I did this right - I need to make sure the "Internal Thunderbolt Controller" is turned on in my PC's BIOS (BIOS Setting: Advanced > System Configuration > Internal Thunderbolt Controller - Enabled). But when I look at the instructions, it says a function called for extra Thunderbolt BIOS Configuration doesn't exist here. It tells me to check the menu section "Advanced" and scroll down to "Thunderbolt Configuration". In that part of the menu you can find settings like "Devices under Thunderbolt" and how secure the connection is set to be.
It was Thunderbolt control software that I installed but not fresh enough. It took me a long time to find a download because the one in the app store didn't work, but I got it now and it works perfectly fine.
