Could this computer be suitable for playing Fortnite competitions and similar games? It has a Ryzen 5 1600 processor, an NVIDIA GTX 1650 with 4GB of memory, and Crucial DDR4 RAM (2x4GB) installed on an ASRock A320m Pro motherboard.
It’s acceptable, and I could implement a few changes.
Please confirm that the Ryzen 5 1600 is actually the Ryzen 5 1600 AF; this newer variant is essentially a Ryzen 5 2600 with a slight reduction in processing speed.
Regarding RAM, a total of 8GB is generally adequate, unless you frequently have numerous browser windows and applications like Discord open simultaneously while gaming. If your primary use is gaming combined with Discord, 8GB should suffice; ensure it’s configured as two 4GB modules and with a minimum speed of 3200MHz. Ryzen processors benefit from fast memory.
The A320 chipset is functional, but if the budget allows, I’d strongly recommend selecting a different motherboard.
It’s not terrible; I could certainly improve it slightly.
Please ensure the Ryzen 5 1600 is the Ryzen 5 1600 AF variant – this newer version is essentially a smaller-speed variation of the Ryzen 5 2600.

If your primary activity is gaming plus Discord, 8GB should suffice; just be sure to configure it as two 4GB sticks with at least a 3200MHz speed. Ryzen processors appreciate fast memory.
The A320 chipset isn't bad, however, if the budget allows, I’d strongly recommend a motherboard featuring the B450 chipset. The ASRock B450M PRO4 is pricier, but offers superior VRMs and the potential to upgrade your CPU to something like a Ryzen 7 3700X or 4700X in the future.
Best regards.
