For reference, here are your components: motherboard ASRock B550M-HDV, CPU Ryzen 5 5600, GPU XFX Radeon RX 580 8gb GDDR5, RAM 16GB, PSU MSI Mag 550w. It starts up, the GPU displays a blue light, but no video output appears on the monitor?

Blue light shows the device is getting power. The connection for the monitor is the video link, and the monitor itself is the one you're asking about.

Hello,
If your system starts up and the GPU displays a blue light but you're experiencing problems, follow these troubleshooting tips:
my lonestar login
Verify Connections
: Reconfirm all power connections between your GPU, PSU, and motherboard. Make sure the GPU is correctly placed in the PCIe slot.
Update BIOS
: Check that your ASRock B550M-HDV motherboard runs the most recent BIOS. An update may fix compatibility problems.
Check Drivers
: Verify your AMD Radeon RX 580 drivers are current. Use the AMD driver tool to find and install the newest versions.
Power Supply
: Ensure your MSI Mag 550 Watt PSU is working properly. The blue light suggests power, but confirm it isn’t underpowered for your configuration.
These actions should address the issue. Feel free to ask for more specific advice!
Best Regards,
Thomas Brown
