I purchased a Razer Viper Ultimate from Amazon (the one without the dock).
The first thing I noticed was a tape covering the original tape that seals the box.
After opening it, the contents didn’t look like they were in new condition.
I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w98A21Cm70 – you can see it has protective tape at the bottom. My version didn’t have it.
It seems the video might be outdated, and newer versions don’t include this tape anymore.
But if it was used before, does that mean the new ones still come with this protective tape?

It's challenging to provide a clear response. Many manufacturers are reducing costs by cutting back in various ways. I often encounter similar situations regarding packaging, protection, and included parts. If the mouse was purchased new and in use, please return it to Amazon at the earliest opportunity.
