The original PNG image is 1294px wide, yet it appears larger on the website. Even when viewing it in another tab without HTML, the size remains unchanged, indicating it’s not due to HTML or CSS. When opened in an image viewer or Photoshop, the dimensions look correct. Using developer tools shows the actual measurement is 1294px. The issue persists across Firefox, Chromium, and Chrome. The browser zoom is set to 100%, which shouldn’t affect this. Windows display settings are also at 100% with no scaling. In Photoshop rulers, you can see a difference compared to a Chrome extension measuring the screen. Since I use Photoshop for site design, discrepancies appear when importing images into WordPress and viewing the site in the browser.

I don't understand what you mean...I created an image in Photoshop 96 dpi 800 x 600 and this is the result..

If I adjust an image size in Photoshop to 130 pixels per inch, the dimensions appear unchanged. Therefore, I need to resize them down to 96 before saving. It’s not perfect, but it works for now to match the site design in Photoshop and WordPress. I’ll conduct a test on another computer soon to confirm consistency.
