Hey Guys,
My Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X Laptop has been acting up. It won't turn on the screen after pressing the power button. Sometimes it works after a hard restart, but then it needs to enter a recovery mode that freezes or stops for about ten seconds. It also shows a blue screen sometimes.
I'm trying to fix it myself since it's past warranty.

If the laptop drive contains any important data, take out the drive, insert a backup drive, and reinstall the operating system in offline mode, then install all required drivers for your laptop during this offline process. Check if this resolves the problem. If the issue disappears after reinstalling the OS, it indicates corruption in the OS or drive initially.

You're welcome on the new M.2 SSD and Ubuntu setup. Regarding your concern, I'm not sure if the issue lies with the operating system or the drive itself. It might be helpful to check further. Thank you for reaching out.

I just restarted it today and everything is the same. It functioned properly all day yesterday, even when turned on and off. There are no blue screens or crashes. Still seeing a pop-up asking to reset the FTPM.
