I updated the newest Nvidia drivers on my PC and during startup, the CPU often hit temperatures as high as 95°C, which has never happened before. This raises questions about the cause and whether there are steps I can take. Although CPU temperatures are meant to rise this way, the abrupt increase seems unusual and I prefer preserving its lifespan rather than risking damage.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: *Deepcool LE360 V2 75.89 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: *Asus TUF GAMING X870E-PLUS WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard
Memory: *Patriot Viper Elite 5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
Storage: Samsung 9100 PRO 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X4 NVME SSD
Video Card: *Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC SFF GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB Video Card
Case: *Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: *ASRock Steel Legend SL-850G 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Notes: Everything seems in order, but the spike is unexpected.

how did the previous height measure look? what is the current cpu/gpu utilization?

it wouldn't exceed 75°C and the CPU usage is about 50% now. The game's loading areas stay within that temperature, but they're actually surpassing it.

It only rises to those temperatures briefly, while the idle temps remain normal.

We reinstalled the graphics drivers. This might have required recompiling shaders. The process is demanding on the CPU. Please verify the installation of the CPU cooler and consider reapplying thermal paste if necessary.

This makes perfect sense given my lack of exposure to those temperatures in similar contexts. Appreciate you helping me understand.
