Undervolting doesn't always ensure reduced power usage overall. When aiming for a specific power consumption, power limits are what matter. Usually, I keep mine at 75% (which brings it down to 300W) while applying an undervolt. I’d need to check the curve I have, but I believe my voltage is similar to yours at that speed (my curve reaches about 2GHz).

The steep drop in clock speed compared to voltage changes explains why your speeds drop significantly when you set a power limit. If there’s no such reason, it might help to adjust the curve so you’re around 1700MHz at 800mV.

Yeah, well , I'm not willing to trade any more of my core clock frequency for lower power consumption. I'm just going to live with it at 1800mhz and 825mv with whatever it consumes. If I go lower than 825mv then in some games crashes.
