Are you certain when making adjustments that you are actually saving or confirming them in some way?
Is there a "Save", "Yes", or "Ok" button? Or perhaps an "Approve" option?
You might have to scroll down a bit to locate or view the confirmation.
Another idea is to carefully review the changes you've made. If they aren't supported by the hardware, etc., the modifications could just be restoring the default settings.
The app works as expected after I set the preferences. However, when the application I created is launched, the adjustments I made disappear.
On Nvidia Geforce MX250 I'm playing Valorant and trying to adjust these two settings. After applying the changes, the system confirms they were updated, but when I launch the game and use Nvidia Inspector, everything reverts to its original configuration.
First: Antialiasing - Transparency /Supersampling
Adjustment Guide
According to the Tweak Guide (highlighted text):
"It's crucial that this adjustment depends on a common type of Antialiasing (usually MSAA) being applied first, either built into the game or set through the NVCP's Antialiasing - Setting option. If not, it won't work effectively.
Additionally, the sample rate for standard AA should align with the TRAA you're trying to use. For instance, if you're using 4x MSAA in a game that uses standard Antialiasing, choose either the general Multisample option or the 4x (supersample) Antialiasing - Transparency setting to match."
Examine the settings you're attempting to apply carefully. There might be extra requirements or unsupported configurations.
It could be either anti-aliasing or texture filtering that needs handling separately, not both simultaneously.
I recommend downloading the Nvidia Control Panel from Nvidia and reviewing the available configuration options to ensure compatibility with your system."
