My build:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pFwHQd
Running stress tests with cinepak, furmark, and 3d mark worked perfectly. However, while playing Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, the game occasionally crashes my PC. No error messages or crash dumps appear. Checking the event logs reveals an Event 41 about a shutdown and an event 1023 indicating failure to load "c:\windows\system32\sysmain.dll" (uncertain if connected). When it crashes, hwinfo doesn’t show anything unusual, and the game never exceeds CPU or GPU usage. Earlier during assembly, reaching the benchmark section of 3d mark produced the same issue, which resolved after switching the GPU port on the PSU (the dark power pro 13 1300W has two 12VHPWR ports).

I tested RAM, performed a full system scan, ran stress tests, updated BIOS, etc., but nothing resolved the problem.

Anyone have any advice?
Thanks in advance.

update motherboard information
switch PSU to a different brand model
are you using the 12VHPWR cable provided with the PSU or a third-party version?
run dism commands to verify windows environment
inspect SSD using Samsung Magician and install available firmware updates
verify the GPU BIOS switch, ensure it is fully set to one side
gradually test alternative BIOS versions by swapping the card

Bios has been updated. The SSD firmware is current. I'm unable to afford both the cost and time needed for a new PSU to verify if the issue lies there. I'm considering isolating other factors before reaching out for help. I'm using the cable that came with the PSU; should I try the one included with the card or the adapter? I'm worried about using the adapter, as I only have three left on the PSU. I switched the BIOS to quiet mode and will check performance in a few days.

What version of the driver are you running? I'm uncertain if they've led to shutdowns, but they've resulted in black screens. Please confirm the 12v high-power connector is properly engaged.

I switched the bios back to performance mode and lets see. In addition, I reseated the ram.
I'm using 576.28 version of the driver.
Here's a pic of my 12v hi power connector, this is my first experience with it, does it look fully seated?

On the GPU side, it appears slightly misaligned on one side. I would try DDU and install 566.36 to confirm. This is the most recent and reliable driver available.

When encountering issues with just one game, check for available patches. Alternatively, consult the game forum for potential solutions through game settings.

Also might it be related to a grid problem? I have a threadripper and a Mac Studio Pro in the same room with a powerful UPS for work. This PC and another one I built earlier, along with an AC unit, are all protected by surge protectors. Should I consider buying an UPS for this PC?

It seems 566.36 doesn’t support Blackwell. I don’t have any information about the best stable driver for Blackwell cards either.

Also, does this look better?
