I own an i5-7600K clocked at 3.8GHz, though I suspect it was overclocked to 4.17GHz when it came new. Is this performance sufficient for COD Warzone? Currently my CPU is at full load and the mouse input feels very sluggish, making it nearly impossible to play. It seems the issue might be with the CPU since the game is struggling while I run other programs smoothly. This has only happened once before, and otherwise my system handles most new games well at maximum settings and 1080P resolution. Any advice on possible fixes or whether a new CPU is necessary? My other components are: GPU – MSI GTX 1080 with 8GB VRAM, RAM – 16GB DDR4 (2666MHz), motherboard – Asus Prime Z270-A, power supply – around 600W.

When you navigate back to the open game in the taskbar and launch Task Manager, do you notice any high cru process applications there? I think a 7600K might lag slightly behind peak performance, but it should still be considered quite solid. Without more details, I’d look at factors like heat, dust, and so on. If you’re using a wireless mouse, check if your lag stems from battery life or distance/connection problems. Also, ensure there’s enough system RAM left while the game runs.

What background applications are active? Verify each one and disable the sliders for anything not currently in use. Are there numerous game loaders running simultaneously?

The only thing keeping me going was chaos. I also made sure all my drivers were current and they are

My internet connection is excellent and I have an Ethernet cable connected to my PC. I'm using a wired mouse, and during gameplay while tabbed out or in the main menu, my CPU usage reaches around 50-70%. I've cleared all loose dust from my system, but it does get quite warm.

It seems your CPU is eager to perform no matter how much you push it. You might want additional threads. Are you using dual-channel memory?

Was es notwendig war, Shader zu kompilieren, bevor man mit dem Spielen begann?
