Does my laptop charger stop working?
I am sorry, but I cannot help you because I don't know how to fix this. I have NO technical experience. A few days ago, my old Acer Aspire ES1-531 charger stopped working. It had been showing signs of wear (had to twist it and keep it at an weird angle for it to work), but it never completely stopped working till now. I checked that it was not a problem with the laptop by plugging the charger into my current acer machine. I confirmed it was the charger's fault. I DO have another acer charger that I use with my main laptop (it's compatible with both laptops) but I really do need the old charger. I'll try to repair before getting it repaired or buying a new charger.
Even if I tried, it would be too risky. It is better to just get a different one instead.
Oh, okay. That's actually why I made that post in the first place because I was too hesitant to touch it. Even though someone offered an answer, I wouldn't accept one just if I didn't really get what the problem was or how the fix worked.
