Hey, I'm looking into my GPU and CPU performance while gaming!
Laptop specs: Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9, Ryzen 7 7435HS, RTX 4060 8GB, 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD.
In COD MW2 (2022) I'm getting about 50-55 FPS at recommended settings.
GPU usage is around 40-50%, temperature 45-50°C.
CPU usage is similar, around 40-50%, temperature 50-55°C.
Even when using low settings, FPS never goes above 60 consistently.
Anyone have a clue what's going on?
Best regards

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Verify if your laptop requires any BIOS updates.
In Safe Mode, use DDU to eliminate all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia), restart, and then manually install the newest GPU driver from Nvidia's support page via an elevated command—Right click the installer and select Run as Administrator (assuming you're using Windows 10/11).

verify that your laptop's power plan isn't configured for balanced but is set for performance.

I verified it too, even in Hollow Knight where the GPU usage at maximum reaches 15% while the CPU stays between 5-10%, yet I'm maintaining 30 frames per second.

Do you use the laptop display or an external monitor? Which resolution are you working with? What is the refresh rate of your screen?

I am using the laptop display configured at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. The GPU functions correctly during the initial game session, but problems arise afterward.
