I put in my new Windows 11 install with driver software first. Then I tried to finish the setup but it's stuck on a message saying "Can't connect to ethernet." I'm confused about how to fix this loop now.

So, what exactly does this thing do and which parts make it up? Also, have we ever tried running an old version of Windows on this before?

By loop I mean when I turn on my PC it goes straight to Windows and starts looking for an ethernet connection but it can't find one even though I have the cable plugged in correctly. I can open a command line, but I don't know how to load the drivers or remove Windows. I also tried putting a new wifi driver on a flash drive, but I'm not sure how to get to that drive either.

Could you send me a picture? My instructions are not clear enough. Usually, you need to install a LAN card. You can get this from the website that sells your computer board. Which model of board do you have?

I'm starting this new PC, but I need to tell you something important: it's a brand new build. I bought the MSI 690 with built-in WiFi. After I knew it would turn on, I turned it off and used my Windows 11 USB key to restart it. When Windows started, it worked fine at first. But then suddenly, every time I boot up, it gets ready to search for internet but stops right there because there is no Ethernet connection. I think the problem is that there isn't a driver for this new hardware.

Do you know the exact full name of my MSI motherboard? Details matter. Is Wi-Fi turned on in your BIOS? I'm surprised that Windows 11 can't find a driver for two devices at once. By the way, is your PC connected to your router using an ethernet cable?

I have an MSI motherboard that has Wi-Fi and a lot of extra ports, but I am not sure if the Wi-Fi works right now. Also, my computer is actually hooked up to the internet using an Ethernet cable from my router.
