I removed the bracket and found it was bent. I searched for replacements online but didn't locate any. Could there be another way to straighten it?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
This setup allows for flexibility and added force. The padded side connects to the GPU's PCB side, resulting in a protrusion above the die area. When you secure the screws, they will flatten and generate pressure for your retention system.
To tighten further, use a criss-cross method, adjusting each screw at roughly 90 degrees until everything is firmly in place.

Remove the backplate, then install the retention bracket and reattach the backplate.

Rotate the bracket until it fits correctly.
The bracket lacks symmetry. It can only be placed in one proper position.
