I was wondering if I should change my RAM speed in the BIOS, but after reading some articles, I found that changing the frequency can be risky and very annoying. Just thinking about this... does the risk still stay even when I turn on DOCP (which makes it go to 3600mhz automatically inside the BIOS)? I am pretty new at overclocking things so if anyone helps me out here please say hi!

Getting more high-speed RAM isn't worth it if you don't actually use it. Just buy what matches your current memory speed. Most things work great without issues unless they break easily after purchase.

Getting faster RAM isn't worth it unless you actually use it often. If your memory is set for a high speed and you plan on using it, then go ahead and buy that one thing that can't be taken back later. Most people find it working great all the time.
