search for issues using DISM commands
restore all drivers from Asus.com, even if older ones exist
monitor CPU and GPU temperatures during gaming
scan hard drive for errors using the manufacturer’s utility

Initially I checked my temperatures and everything was normal.
DISM passed, drivers were reinstalled from the site, and temperatures were stable.
HDD passed testing using WD tools.

Received this updated issue in the report; it displays a red circle with an exclamation next to it. In contrast, the earlier error showed a yellow triangle containing an exclamation.

i'm going to wait a few days to confirm it's resolved, but it looks like it is. i located a download from intels support page and installed it.
