The stutter isn't actually caused by the PSU, though I still think it's risky to use it without checking first. That decision is yours alone. Stuttering problems can split into two main groups: not having enough power for a specific job, or fighting between software and drivers. I think your issues fall into the second group. Some of that stutter comes from simply running out of resources when you need them most, even if your computer hardware is really fast. In that case, the real problem is how well the system optimizes its own tasks. If your fastest hardware just can't handle a job properly then it's the task itself that needs better optimization.

I tried running tests with Spiderman Miles Morales using both RT enabled and disabled. When RT is on at max settings, graphics are high, DLSS is active, and the frame rate lock stays at 80 FPS via Riva Tuner. I use HWInfo to watch performance and Generic Log Viewer for logs. The main test involved swinging on a web and running through busy streets without fighting or cutscenes. Without RT, I ran Mission 2 where we arrived at Peter's outfit location in the park. The RT test followed that mission right after the park scene. My gaming experience aside from graph data: when RT was off, there were no stutters. When RT was on, I felt a tiny stutter for just one second or so. The situation feels like Cyberpunk too. Both tests had plenty of FPS reserve (the card is at 60% usage) and small frame time jumps caused by the lock dropping 1-2 frames per second. In both games, those hiccups aren't happening often enough to matter, and I can still play fine. I'm not sure what to think right now

Maybe something quicker could fix those stuttering moments?
