Estimated around a few thousand units, seems stable. Could you share your system details? How do the temperatures behave before a crash occurs?

I don’t play Far Cry 3 even though I have a copy, and I’m using Windows 7. However, I think the crashes aren’t connected to whether you’re on Windows 10, so sharing your system details could help identify the issue more quickly.

It was just something I tried yesterday for about two hours without any issues. Have you made any updates to Windows 10 or performed a clean installation? The update seems to have caused some problems, so I’ll go with a fresh start.

I would try reinstalling the drivers first, though I suspect the problem might be hardware-related instead of software. Still, I don’t have any evidence to confirm that idea.

The PC would freeze every 45 to 60 minutes while playing Far Cry 3 on Windows 8. It didn’t really bother me too much—it’s still one of my top favorite games ever.
