If you're planning to buy a power supply unit (PSU), look for one like the Corsair RM750x instead.

This cooler comes with a little bit of good thermal paste that also goes on the other one. Here are the parts I picked for my build based on prices found online: CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X at $329. Motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 board bought for $128. RAM is two 16GB sticks of Crucial Pro DDR5-6400 CL38 costing $83.99 each. Storage got me a 2TB Silicon Power M.2 drive that costs $94. Video card is the PowerColor RX7800XT 16GB for $467.96. The case is just my Corsair 4000D, so no extra cost there. I also have two fans from Arctic P12 that are $9.99 each.

Total comes to $1248.88 and all these prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available. The parts were picked based on their lowest price. This list was made by PCPartPicker for me on April 2, 2025, at 4:01 PM EDT.

Playing games at 1440p is great for coding and a little video editing.
