I recently purchased a WD Elements external hard drive and filled it with many photos. The following day, I loaded the files and discovered a large number of files with unusual names (see photo below). How can I retrieve the photos? Please assist!

Checking the HDD > extra section, then running an error verification. It might be resolvable.
