Do you ever watch YouTube on your TV? Sometimes some videos have loud sounds while others are quiet. Is there a setting or trick to make them all stay at the same level so you don't need to turn the volume up and down all the time?

No, there isn't one. But yes, people have tried making programs that auto adjust volumes, yet they haven't worked well because it is very hard to tell the difference between two separate video clips and just one long clip with parts of it being completely silent in the middle. As of today I don't know any working solution for this. It's not impossible to make a program like this, but you'd need to analyze all the audio data first and adjust the gain levels before watching it - which means you would have to cache things so they can't be easily used by streaming services like YouTube.

No, there isn't one yet. But yes, people have tried making programs that auto adjust volumes, but those haven't worked well because it is hard to tell the difference between two separate video clips and one long clip where some parts are completely silent in the middle. As of right now, I don't know any working solution for this problem. It's not impossible to make a program like this, but it requires analyzing audio data and adjusting the gain level before you watch something - that means needing to save or cache the video so you can control it later, which isn't a good idea for streaming services like YouTube because they don't let you pause or rewind easily.
