Hi, I'm seeking a used or new Windows 11 Professional desktop tower from Lenovo with ample HDD expansion options on the motherboard. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lee

There isn't much focus on affordable options for hard drive expansion. What budget do you have, and what are your needs?

£200-£300 is allocated for administrative/office use. I own numerous TB-sized spindle drives and wish to house them neatly within a computer for convenient access.

Are we discussing 2, 4, or 20 drives? Most OEM desktops only allow 2-4 drives of any kind. If these are intended for critical storage, this is not the right method.
For backups, it should be network-attached storage with its own tape backups, or a cloud provider as a backup.
As scratch drives for initial work before moving to permanent storage, that’s acceptable.
I don’t see much in that price range except for very old models.
Check out Dell Precision workstations and HP Z class workstations on ebay.
I can’t really suggest any DDR3-based workstations, though those would be ideal for supporting more than a couple drives. There might be some DDR4 options within your budget.
