Thank you, I was merely offering an Intel template, not a strict suggestion since we don't have complete clarity on your needs.
so you're suggesting those numbers only have 8 lanes, but I noticed variations in the models too...
if we turn off the iGPU in BIOS for none of these variants, do we actually gain those extra lanes?
around 2CU, that's something new—check if I'm wrong.
did you mean even an F variant on AMD, it's still possible to boot without a dedicated GPU? that's impressive.
edit: just checking the prices.
I want a PC with NVME and Windows 11 compatibility!
I think something like that can support my casual gaming, which is under 10-20 hours a year.
P.S.:
I’m not sure if this is the best choice or it might cause issues. But since November, I haven’t used my DGPU, so I’ve turned it off in Device Manager. My PC is now connected via HDMI from my motherboard to my monitor.
Right now I have a display cable from my GPU and an HDMI port on the motherboard. Both are connected, but because the GPU is disabled in Device Manager, I’m using my desktop through Intel’s integrated GPU.
And why? Because I dislike the fan noise from the AMD GPU I just installed—it’s completely silent now.
