I'm working on assembling a gaming PC with a solid budget. My main focus is on AMD processors—specifically the 5500, 5600, and core i5 models. But then I discovered something amazing online! It really outperforms everything I've seen before. I'm still amazed by its performance! I'm planning to purchase it right now. Isn't this an ideal choice? Let me know your thoughts before I make the decision!

It isn't always the top choice. Most common parts offer superior value. Given how saturated the market is, I wouldn't suggest the 12100 over the 12400 for performance tasks. For purchasing new, if you're mainly gaming, it depends—just pick the better deal in your area.

It's not necessarily perfect or the absolute best budget processor, but it's clearly the top choice right now. Make sure to compare prices for the standard 12100 in your region—the integrated graphics offer advantages in specific scenarios.

It's a solid CPU for its price, but I don't think it qualifies as a true budget favorite. The main point is it's adequate for most games right now, but after the 8th generation consoles drop out, it will start facing similar problems as multi-core and six-core chips have dealt with for years. In short, if you're looking for something that lasts beyond a year, the 12th Gen i3 would be a better long-term choice.

I initially believed the Intel core i3 12100F was the top choice, but now I see it’s even better. Integrated graphics are ideal since I don’t want to purchase a GPU immediately. This is the perfect option—I’m ready to buy! Appreciate your feedback! Could you recommend which motherboard would perform best in this setup?

It's comparable to the 12100 overall, but slower in ST/gaming yet quicker in MT. You're left with choosing between 12100(F) or the 12400F/5600, R5 5500/4500 and R3 4100—those options are significantly pricier for the performance they offer.

Consider the myth surrounding the budget gaming PC with an Athlon 3000G. If you opt for it, pairing it with a GPU such as the 1650 might be a smart move.

Huh? The 5500 performs better under heavy load, but not dramatically—scoring around 11K on CBR23 to 8K for the 12100. It slows down a bit on single-threaded tasks (1350 to 1900), which matters for gaming and most applications. Plus, it only goes PCIe3 to the 12100’s PCIe 5, and supports DDR5, though that might not be practical right now.

Much more information? How could that be? The 5500 is clearly a scam. Have you watched the GN video yet?

It's not the case, as demonstrated in the video.
