I don't know where to put this since I guess it might be a graphics card problem? So let me say up front I am no pro at tech stuff but I know my stuff pretty well. So I got her a brand new setup about 6 months ago with these specs: Gigabyte Z590 Vision D Motherboard, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti NZXT Kraken Z63 AIO Intel Core i9 11900, Corsair Vengeance 32GB, CoolerMaster 850V2. We've been away from home for a bit and when we came back her gaming experience started to get bad. She can play games that are really high quality graphics with no problem; but lately playing Hood Legends & Outlaws she gets a lot of bad pixel glitches (artifacts). It's not because it is too hot since nothing runs over 65 degrees, usually even 60. This game only seems to be the one affected, not Conan Exiles or something that needs way more power. In Hood it just looks like blue flashes but they are very fast and there are many of them. It looks like fireworks happening in slow bursts but with low graphics turned down (the lowest setting possible) and shadows set to low as well the effect will only happen once every few hours maybe. I want to try some easy fixes before we start buying extra parts etc; have already tried reattaching all cables. I've heard it might be a faulty power supply unit too but with an 850W I am not really thinking that's what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated!

Instead of taking apart your computer, it might just be a problem with the game itself. Here are some things you should try: check the link below for more info on how to fix lag and poor performance in games like Hood Outlaws, Legends, or FPS drops: https://www.gamenguides.com/hood-outlaws...issues-fix Also, run this benchmark from Unigine Superposition. See if you get strange visual errors there too: https://benchmark.unigine.com/superposition Pick the preset that fits your PC best, or choose a weaker one like 1080p medium to be extra sure. If the GPU tests pass without any weird things happening, then the game is likely broken.

Thanks! Ran some tests and didn't see any artifacts, but did have a few black screen flickers when using the debug mode. I'm not sure if that was just because of extreme load or if it means something is actually broken underneath. While running this, I had a thought - could limiting the FPS on games make a difference?
