I needed a strong workstation for some time and found these Chinese boards interesting. I spent a lot of time looking for parts until I reached Error 60, 'DXE Core is started'. Core Items... ZX-DU99D3X8 motherboard. Xeon E5 2698 V3 2.3Ghz with 16 cores, two CPUs, 145W coolers, 16GB ECC DDR3 RAM, eight Radeon RX 580 GPUs, two 256GB SSDs, and a 1200W ATX PSU. The screen shows the error code but no output. I removed the CMOS battery, tried with four RAM sticks instead of eight, took out the second CPU and extra cards, and checked the front panel connections. Even when using a different GPU, it still didn’t start. My guess is the MicroCode doesn’t work with this XEON CPU. Having worked with PCs for years, this feels like a tough spot.
