It isn't a typical twitch shooter, but it's more of a MOBA. Your internet speed is also slower than your display.
Games such as LOL demand high frame rates and very low latency, especially in tournaments where large sums of money are involved. This is just my guess, though I might be completely mistaken.
I'm not really a crazy player, but during some games I got a boost in FPS that makes it hard to play, especially with 20 people nearby (and yes, I prefer the highest graphics settings).
Initially I had an Asus PRIME B450M-A, but later decided to switch to a GIGABYTE B650M Gaming Plus WiFi and a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE cooler. The final configuration turned out to be: case, motherboard, CPU, cooler, GPU, RAM, storage, power supply, and monitor as specified.
It's actually quite manageable. Your upgraded build should handle the game well on maximum settings, provided you have a fast internet connection. It's an online-only title, so no issues there.
