Do you need a program to watch your CPU and memory? Let me know!
Fix your post by adding full system details like hardware specs, OS info, power supply brand/model/wattage/age/condition. Check hard drives: make/model/capacity/filling level. Look for problems beyond just heat. Use Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer to see how the computer is doing because that causes overheating. Try all three tools but only one at a time. Task Manager and Resource Monitor are built into Windows. You might have to install Process Explorer (free from Microsoft) by going to their website https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s-explorer. Find out what resources are being used, how much (%), and who is taking them when the temperatures go up...
Update your post with details about the system hardware like CPU, RAM, etc., plus OS info. Check if the power supply is good: make, model, wattage, how old it is, and its condition? Look at your hard drives too: make, model, capacity, and how full are they? Problems might not just be heat. Use Task Manager or Resource Monitor to see how fast things run, but don't use both at once. You probably need to download Process Explorer (it's free from Microsoft) so you can find out exactly what's using up your resources when things get hot. = = = = Turn off the PC and unplug it. Open the case and wipe away dust. Make sure nothing blocks the air flow. Check that every wire, card, RAM stick, and connector is stuck tight.
