Hello, I hope someone can assist me. My computer suddenly shuts down and displays a black screen. The cooling fans increase to maximum speed but don’t cease. I notice no obvious overheating signs, yet they keep activating. Occasionally, when launching a game like Plate Up, it crashes, but after restarting the PC it works again—sometimes it crashes once more before repeating. Recently, while playing Fortnite, the system crashed right away and stayed black with fans spinning nonstop. I have an Intel i9-12900k with a 4090 Corsair AIO cooler and multiple case fans, paired with a 1200W PSU. I’m looking for any possible cause that could be causing this issue. Would anyone have insights? I just want a solution that doesn’t disrupt my overall PC use.

No, I don't recall any specific list from PCPartPicker being used for assembling this.

There are several of them. You're right, it's surprising how much power they can reduce.

Front has two units, rear has one, top has one pulling in, then AIO is engaged.

Open the Windows Event Viewer and capture any non-information screenshots. Focus on timestamps related to the black screen events. Ask about your GPU setup: is the 16-pin adapter connected via a single PCIe cable or multiple cables? Which fans increase in speed? Did you install the GPU driver yourself, or did Windows handle it? Have you performed any BIOS updates? You mentioned no thermal problems, but what temperatures were recorded during games or when issues arise?

It's a separate cable. The case fans I also saw some discussions about online, and a few people mentioned it could relate to my C: drive being split into two partitions. I didn't notice it until I checked it now. I transferred the files from the second partition, removed them, restarted a few games, and it seemed to fix the problems, though I still need to confirm.

This installation came from a previous version you relocated, or it was set up using Windows directly.
