The DC power source I discussed was an AC to DC adapter.

So I searched for AC to DC power adapters and found many with cylinder-shaped ends, similar to what you plug into a laptop.
The Charge 4 uses USB C for charging, so what should I do?
P.S.
@American2021
Thanks for the suggestion... I only got it working for Charge 5 and above
🙁

The JBL One App is compatible with all JBL wifi speakers. But I realize now that the JBL Charge 4 speaker lacks Wi-Fi functionality—it uses Bluetooth, so it won't connect to that device. Always learning.

There is a USB-C charger capable of delivering 5V 2.3A.
I plan to use an adapter that offers 5V 3A.

Consider reviewing Task Scheduler or Powershell using the provided audio cmdlets link. The goal is to find a process active during the speaker's use and inactive when not in use or powered off. It might be simple, particularly with Task Scheduler. If the process isn't running, Task Scheduler can trigger its restart. Powershell would apply a similar approach but with a Get cmdlet to check speaker status. Understanding which condition to apply will be essential. Task Scheduler seems simpler and more straightforward.
