Just before yesterday, I managed to download YouTube videos without issues using popular tools such as 4K Video Downloader Pro, ByClick Downloader, Any Video Downloader Pro, iTubeGo, YouTube Downloader, YTD Video Downloader Ultimate, and several others. These programs were running in full and the latest versions. However, suddenly everything stopped downloading YouTube videos, except from sites like Rumble or Bitchute, which still worked normally. All downloads ceased abruptly. Web browsers played YouTube without problems, but I could only save videos via websites like notube. I examined the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file for any blocks, and it appeared clean and virus-free. I am using 64-bit Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

adjust the downloader application
may need to pause for some time (occasionally days) until an update is released, probably because YouTube made changes

Observe the error notifications, warning alerts, and any alert boxes that appear when downloads are blocked. Review the visual cues such as pop-up messages or red indicators. Think about whether access permissions might be the issue. Determine if the user with complete administrative privileges on your device, router, modem, or network has control. Also reflect on possible regional restrictions imposed by authorities.
