Hello, I'm setting up my first PC. I've chosen the MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi II, Lian Li O11 Vision, i9-14900k. I'm thinking about adding the Lian Li Galahad II LCD SL-INF, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium (4x16GB sticks), a 4070 Ti Super, a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro and an 8TB Seagate Barracuda. This setup is intended for gaming, bug bounty, and cybersecurity work. Do you have any advice on adjustments or should this configuration work well for its purpose?

The Intel 13th and 14th generation chips are not advised at the moment because of ongoing stability issues. The necessary fixes and microcode updates haven’t been confirmed yet.
For gaming, I recommend the 7800X3D. If you require additional processing power for other tasks, the 7950X3D is a good option.
Consider using two 32 GB memory sticks; this should improve performance and speed.
An example setup could be:

2x32GB memory kit. Speed wasn't mentioned, but running 4 sticks at high speed seems unlikely.
14700K (only 4 e cores less)
And if you haven't noticed recent updates, 13th and 14th generation Intel chips have a recognized problem. A BIOS update was released in August that must be installed first. It stops excessive core voltage and helps prevent CPU wear.
An alternative could be a 7900X or 9900X from AMD. For maximum thread count, consider the 7950X or 9950X.

I'm not going to lie. I've already received my mobo and case. The RAM I was thinking about would be clocked at either 6200 or 6400. I'll switch to the 4080 super and choose the 2 stick setup. Besides being a powerful machine, I'm also aiming for style, which is why I picked the O11 Vision.

Check if the request falls within the available timeframe.
Order the CL30/32 RAM kit for 6200/6400.

I’m just thinking about which specific programs or games you’d like to try before making a final suggestion. Could you share details about your monitor’s resolution, your budget, where you plan to buy the components, and what exactly bug bounty and other cybersecurity responsibilities mean to you?
