Hey everyone, just starting out here. I'm not very familiar with computers or building, that's why I'm joining.
Do you have any suggestions for other components I could use? I plan to use this setup mostly for gaming and streaming occasionally.
I'm looking for a budget around 2000-2250 CAD, preferably lower if possible, since that's my current limit.

If you can, I'd like to use the SSD and HDD that are already in my current PC, along with the PSU.
I don't have any of these parts yet for the new build, though I thought the GPU and CPU should work for the games I'm playing. I'm hoping there are some alternatives available.

What specific PSU are you looking to reuse and how recent is it? Make sure to pair it with a Z series motherboard for overclocking capabilities. Thanks for the reply. For PSU, it's a 750W unit, and given how old it is, I’d definitely need to replace it. I’ve been using it since about 2016-2017.
I’m not very sure what specific models would fit these requirements. Are there particular cases that match these specifications? I’m not sure where to look for them. Personally, I don’t mind the size or color, as long as it’s between $50 and $150 and has RGB lighting or any color option. Any recommendations for a case and motherboard would be great!
I should definitely look into these Intel CPUs. I don’t know the current prices in your area, as some might be discounted. The performance variations would be small at best:

Perhaps you’ve already dismissed them all? You could check out shops like Lian Li, Phanteks, Fractal Design, or Corsair. I’d aim for a model with enough space to fit an air cooler of at least 165 mm height.
For the motherboard, don’t skip mid to upper price ranges unless you’re on a budget. A B-series board might be better than a Z-series.
Think about what matters most to you personally:
Overclocking isn’t as crucial now unless you’re just doing it for fun.
Noise from fans is a minor concern for some.
Temperature limits are serious—some people could face health risks at 80°C. You?
You should weigh air cooling against liquid cooling.
Lighting preferences vary; some love RGB and flashy displays.
I've never overclocked before, so I don't think I should be too concerned about it, but I'm not very familiar with PC stuff. I'm definitely going to use air cooling because it's much more affordable. When it comes to lighting, I'm not super particular. I'd like some lighting, but it shouldn't be too much. The noise from the fans isn't a big issue for me since I'm using headphones and can't really hear anything else. I'll check out the other aspects as well.
