I checked the plugin area and found two conflicting mods, so I removed them. [SOLVED] After pausing modding for a few months, I returned and learned about the new Skyrim Unofficial Legendary update (a single patch instead of four). I installed it and removed the other unofficial mods. Now I’m encountering an error: Mod Organizer claims the four unofficial patches are missing, even though I have the legendary edition unofficial patch. What should I do to identify which mods are still absent? I’ve tried disabling some larger mods (SKSE, SkyUI, etc.) but they weren’t the issue. I also reinstalled the unofficial mods while keeping the legendary patch active, but received a warning to uninstall other unofficial ones. Any advice would be appreciated.

Review the documentation and the legendary edition page. Adjustments for the four required roles are possible. It seems there may be a method to insert a replacement acting as the patch, though it currently references legendary. I don’t recall it clearly after a while.

Organizer can't locate the previous ESP versions. That's fine because the famous dad has all the changes. Skip the warning about missing ESPs and move forward. Check if any mod relies on old patches by asking Mod Organizer to list those ESPs that lack masters. If not, look into opening your load order in TESX or Wrye Bash.

You haven't seen anything in the documentation or FAQ about this problem. To investigate further, you should check Mod Organizer for missing master files. Since you're having crashes at startup, look for missing masters there. If you need help, downloading Wyre Bash might be a good next step.

Execute TESVEdit. It will halt when it finds a mod lacking a master and won’t crash upon encountering it. Wrye bash may also function, though I’m less experienced with it.

Find the details in the comments section of the page, not the README file. Mistake: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/712...%3D3363860

Yeah. It functioned perfectly with the four unofficial mods before. Then I added the Legendary unofficial ones, removed the original patch mods, rearranged them to the new sequence (Skyrim.esm > Dawnguard.esm > Heartfire.esm > Dragonborn.esm > Unofficial Legendary patch > rest of my mods), which should work now. I’m planning to test it out with TES5Edit as suggested, and I’ll back up my current Skyrim setup just in case it takes longer. I’ll update you soon on the outcome.

I recall that method too—it performed perfectly.

I was reviewing the TESVEdit tutorial and noticed the plugin section. I recalled the two mods that triggered the error, which I hadn't used before. I removed them and everything is functioning properly now. In the future, I might clear out some mods to simplify things or start fresh, but for now it works again. Appreciate the advice!
