M.2 was introduced on the LGA 1150 platform, which replaced the LGA 1155. This chip has been used in that system.

These are PCIe ports designed for PCIe devices, not for M.2 storage solutions. While PCIe cards can support various interfaces like WiFi, Bluetooth, SATA, USB, or network connections, they are not intended to be used with standard M.2 drives.

There isn't a M.2 port available? Your intention is to connect Wi-Fi or a hard drive? If Wi-Fi is needed, simply obtain a PCIe Wi-Fi adapter.

They offer connectors for PCIe or SATA to M.2, but I’d avoid that. It’s better to purchase a standard SSD instead.
