I understand there are front ends for installed steam, gog, uplay, games, etc., and I prefer LaunchBox. But is there a way to check prices and games across all stores in one place without opening each app individually? I enjoy PC gaming but dislike digital downloads and multiple clients. I miss buying physical media, which is why I’ve mostly switched back to consoles. Just curious if a combined front end exists for PC games?

I'm pretty sure that's not what OP wants. The answer would be no. The main reasons big publishers maintain their own platforms are financial control and influence over content presentation. This is why EA left Steam. You can still add non-Steam games to launch via Steam. GFE functions somewhat as a launcher, and GOG Galaxy lets you link your Steam account to access games from their store for free, which you already own.

I was expecting something similar to the Gamo site, but with a full-screen interface that could use each client's API to purchase the game page. When you buy it and tell it to install, it should add the game to your list.
I’m not searching for a replacement for every launcher or client—thinking they might not work well together.
I’m after a solution that unifies all clients in one app, like LaunchBox which can recognize installed Steam and other games, letting you add ROMs or emulators to your BigBox. Still, you need Steam, Uplay, etc., to access it.
I was hoping to elevate that idea further—imagine a system where you click buy and Steam automatically loads for the purchase page. I recall seeing something like that before, but it wasn’t installed or I couldn’t find a game on all platforms.
It seems the original might have had its own client that required downloading via Steam at one point. I’d say it was Assassins Creed, but you could still buy the game directly on Steam.
PC gaming feels increasingly frustrating whenever publishers add new clients with exclusives.
Thanks for your reply.

The issue remains they need a digital shop. It's inexpensive DRM unless they're using something else already. Like the previous game I bought on a disc, DOOM, it still needed Steam.

People wanted options and a way to escape the "Steam monopoly." This is what they receive. You can't have "choice" and "single standard" at the same time.
