I was browsing eBay searching for a GPU upgrade and stumbled upon an An RTX 2070 for just $30. I clicked on their profile and saw various budget server components like Intel Xeon Gold, AMD EPYC, and server motherboards. Are these items genuine?

Certain individuals begin auctions with a significantly low starting price to draw interest. The goal is that as more people start bidding, the value will rise beyond what it would have been at a higher initial cost. This tactic is questionable from a marketing standpoint, yet eBay’s reserve system—where a minimum sale price exists—reduces the risk involved.

I'd trust that they're real cause they're actions. If fake and nothing arrives then contact Ebay. Though the chances of no one else finding such an auction and price staying where it started is slim to none.

Yes, I know how eBay operates. It functions more like a marketplace rather than a traditional storefront.

Observe that the single listing priced appropriately doesn't belong to an auction.
